For some projects you may need to store information that you receive from outside users. Instead of collecting the information and then re-entering it manually in a form, share forms directly to external users! External users can edit the form directly and enter information to reduce steps in your process.
To use the form share feature:
Go to the project you are working on.
Add
a form instance to the project.Expand the options menu for that form.
Select the
Share
option.
5. You'll be directed to a share page where you can create a unique share link for the user you want to share the form.
6. Copy the link on the share page and send it to the user you want to complete the form. Note: Molti will not email the user the link directly, you must send the link to the user for security reasons.
7. When the user accesses the link, they will be directed to a molti page where they will need to enter their email address for identity verification purposes. Note, this email must match the address that was used to create the unique link.
8. Once the user enter's their email address, the molti page will prompt them for an access code. The code will be emailed to them and they can enter the code on this web page. Note that the code is only valid for 5 minutes after it is requested.
9. The user should enter the code and hit Submit
.
10. The user will be directed to the form where they can input information. Once completed they should Save
the form.
11. Assigned users on the project will receive a notification when activity takes place within the form!
Voila! Just like that you can collect information from external users without giving them access to your molti project.
