TL;DR - Use molti to manage all projects and tasks surrounding an initiative or campaign.   Track notes, docs, files, statuses in one place so that information is stored in context of what's going on.

You've had a look around, but you're not quite sure how 'you' would use molti.  Molti is completely flexible and fully customizable.  The possibilities are really endless, so lets give you a few ideas to get started.

StartAcademy's Website Redesign and Launch

GOAL: Track website launch, marketing campaign, organize meeting materials for review by the board.

StartAcademy is an EdTech website that compiles scholarship information in one location to make it easier for students to apply.  They have a great idea and a popular concept but their website is... lacking.

StartAcademy wants to launch a new website.  They want to track the overall progress of the website launch but also want to manage additional projects surrounding the relaunch, like a marketing campaign.  But money doesn't just grow on trees! 🤑 They need to track all their budgets, meeting minutes, goals and have them accessible at all times for the board to review.

Workflows

StartAcademy created 3 workflows:

  • Website Launch

  • Team Meetings

  • Sales Campaign

These workflows track each project on their own unique path.  The 'New Campaign for Relaunch' project needs a status to review 'Storyboard Ideas' but the 'Weekly Stand-Up' meetings don't.  So StartAcademy created customizable workflows with statuses that made sense for each project workflow.

Now they can track the status of everything going in one glance at the 'Projects' page, or they can look at the details of any given project.

Projects

Looking at the 'Website Relaunch' project, you can see they've created specific tasks to be completed with assigned due dates.  They've also stored custom forms with information they want to report on.

Secure File Storage and Sharing

Remember how StartAcademy needed to keep all information available for the board to review? In 'Weekly Stand-Up #3' they've stored all their meeting information to the project so everything is clearly organized.  Email is so last year.

They can invite anyone they want into their workgroup (and assign them specific permissions) and the information is readily available.  Ultimate transparency. 😎
