Flow Restrictions limit how projects can move between statuses.

In the Workflow Builder, there is an option to set a 'Flow Restriction'. Flow Restrictions dictate how a workflow can move from one status to another.

Linear Flow Restriction -

This limits 'Status' movement in a workflow. Projects can only be moved back one status or forward one status on the 'Edit Project' page. You would use this flow restriction if you wanted to prevent users from moving a project from status #1 directly to status #5.

No Restriction -

With 'No Restrictions', projects can be moved to any status on the 'Edit Project' page. You would use this option if you wanted to allow users to move a project to any status regardless of status order.
