How to use the Task Builder

Use the Task Builder to create task templates.

Why mess with success? If you have a go to task that you want to assign multiple times, make it easy by creating the task in the Task Builder.

You can create a task template, so assigning is easy and you don't need to create custom tasks each time.

To use the task builder:

  1. Go to the Task Builder  in the left-side Navigation Menu or the Setup Menu.

  2. Select the blue + Add Tasks   option in the top right corner.

  3. Name the task category and click Create .  This will be the name of your collection of tasks.

  4. Enter a list name in the Add list  field and click Add .

  5. To create a task in a list, select the Add task  option.

  6. Enter a task name (all other fields are optional) and select Add .

Now you can easily and quickly attach tasks to projects.  Just open your project and look for the Pre-defined Tasks  in the top right of the tasks tab!
